Classic Rock Albums Covers drawn by Six-Years Old Artist

Nicolina Lorenza Vachetti is a six-years old cousin of quite famous Argentinian graphic artist and our friend Tano Veron. Two years ago he gave her a cover sleeve of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon" and that's how it started. At her 6, she recreated over one hundred cover arts and won't stop being a proud member of creative scene in Buenos Aires. Please follow her art on Behance and check the several pictures we selected below.

A Concrete Summer House By BAK Arquitectos

"BAK arquitectos (Besonias Almeida) constructed the AV house, a concrete summer home in the forest of Mar Azul in Argentina. Surrounded by the lush natural landscape, the architects' goal was to design a building that integrates into the maritime environment through its shape and use of materials. The exterior is made of exposed concrete and the large windows capture the light that passes through the trees. Additionally, the interior is completely made of concrete, which regulates the thermal insulation."

For fifteen years in a row, we've gathered the biggest community of restless creatures in Latin America in a stadium. Thousands of designers, photographers, publicists, architects, anthropologists, design-inquisitors, illustrators and musicians get together to think, debate and celebrate. This ritual has become a means of operation, a considered action, a form of joy. The connexion to the little darling is unavoidable. But what is design's little darling? Inspiration? A line on a blank sheet? A geometric shape? The reticule? Composition?

We are surrounded by little darlings which help us believe in what we do; confidence, and structure our plans; projection. Little muses that constantly whisper in our ear the steps we must take; those moments plagued with ideas, lights, inspirations.

The classic crossroad of design after the starting point; the Problem. And above it all, her, with her steps floating over neurons; the Solution, dressed in graphite, nodes or ink scattered on a sketch book. And this year, we're gonna celebrate her sweet 15!

Small World of Manuel Archain

Manuel Archain born in 1983 in Argentina is an emerging star in contemporary photography. Here is a series of his photomanipulations titled “Small world”.

Walking through thoughts, cars, books, streetlights, bikes, people, breakfast, dinner, travel landscapes, inner landscapes… So fast, so anxious we could be in the middle of a scene before we even get there. We could even go through it and be back without even noticing it. The usual, everyday dream, our out of scale perception and how each one of us is so into our personal world that we cannot see what is happening around us. The size and weight of things is so distorted, we can even manage to move into a small world. Why the size of a truck could not be the same as my personal scale of a tea cup? What is after the end of the table?

Chalet C7 / Nicolás del Río and Max Núñez

I am not a big fan of winter activities and season itself but after looking on Erieta Attali's photography made for Chalet C7, I thought I am a way too young to think of comfort and relaxation. Chalet C7 is located in the Andes Mountains at 2900 meters from the Portillo Hotel and a few miles from Mount Aconcagua, Argentina. The land is characterised by a steep and rocky topography which faces the Inca Lagoon and the “Tres Hermanos” peaks. Designed and built by Nicolás del Río and Max Núñez the house is hidden in the slope in order to interferes little as possible with the view of the lagoon. via ArchDaily

Montserrat

"This is a tribute film to the amazing Montserrat typeface, recently designed by Julieta Ulanovsky. A tribute, also, to the Montserrat neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, which inspired the font. An finally a tribute to Jorge Luis Borges. The text is an extract from his wonderful poem Break Of Day (Amanecer) from the book Fervor de Buenos Aires (1923)."
