VIB

"VIB is a life sciences research institute, based in Flanders, Belgium. They perform basic research with a strong focus on translating scientific results into pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial applications. For their fifteenth anniversary, we did the entire event branding, for which we used only chalk and a huge blackboard. For this event we also designed a box with nine books in it. For the books only we made more then 200 large chalk drawings."

Truth and Lies by Justin Barber

A poster series by Justin Barber This humorous poster series takes some of the most common, everyday lies we tell ourselves and hear from others, and bluntly translates them into the unequivocal truth. By visually representing the difference in what we often say but secretly mean, Truth and Lies uncovers the inane conversational nuances that reveal paradoxical dichotomies in our otherwise ordinary life. In other words, this is what you say, but (this is what you mean) - and we all know it.

BHSAD Students Challenge by Designcollector

BHSAD + DESIGNCOLLECTOR NETWORK

Collaboration between Moscow based British Higher School Of Art & Design and Designcollector Network (DCN).

Students from Interactive and New Media design courses. Tutor: Dmitry Karpov

BHSAD tutor Dmitry Karpov and Designcollector founder Arseny Vesnin challenged Interactive & New Media course (aka "Interactopus") students to come up with a visual interpretation for Designcollector's digital culture values. The results trespass the bounds of a figurative graphic design and touch the cutting edge of digital art.

This is a first step in a partnership between leading Russian design media and institution.

Prisma 1666 - Interactive Installation

The installation is a collaboration between Wonwei and Shanghai-based design studio Super Nature Design. It was first exhibited at the 2011 International Science and Art Exhibition in Shanghai where it received the Best Creative Design Award.

In 1666, Sir Isaac Newton conducted a famous experiment that has been widely considered as a landmark discovery in the study of optics and color theory. Inspired by this discovery, PRISMA1666 is an interactive light installation consisting of 15 triangular crystal blocks distributed randomly on a clean white surface. The projection of colorful graphics is refracted and dispersed by these crystal blocks, creating a fascinating visual experience and ambiance.

Getty Images - Talent Digital: Hellohikimori

During my last vacation trip to Paris I was lucky to spot the office of the world-renown agency Hellohikimori but had no good reason for an interview during our small chat with HKI founder, David Ronhel. I believe rare design office can brag of such an amazing location just two turns from Notre-Dame. And despite touristic brew outside the atmosphere in HKI headquarters was more than workaholic. For an instance Getty Images France were luckier and released a full version of HKI Interview. It worth to enjoy with other videos from "Talent Digital" project featuring famous designers and agencies.
