Australian artist Rebecca Hastings "draws a line between the technological suffusion of first world childhood and environmental neglect .. The children in Hastings’ works are strangely ambiguous: simultaneously of this world and alien, contemporary and futuristic, childlike and ageless. They could be representations of the real, or they could be fantasy humans like those created in the digital quest for verisimilitude — the quest that has given us the term ‘uncanny valley’ to denote the point at which the synthetic human’s fine differentiation from the real causes abjection."

The new Martian Materials imagined by JVG Studio in their recent CGI project - "What you are going to see came from another planet. The first visuals from outer space ever made. Thanks to NASA's Robotic Mars Exploration Mission we were able to create a collection of abstract images where textures, reliefs, glossiness and colours have been taken from real martian material acquired in their different expeditions."

Graphic designer Marcel Lisboa, living and working in São Paulo/Brazil, uses digital means to create his utterly unique illustrations; all of which expressions of private worlds that reveal a distinct story and invite endless contemplation.
Through digital collage the artist reflects his key inspirations: the Renaissance, the Baroque and Neoclassicism. But by shunning the usual genealogy of the Dadaists, Lisboa creates an unique aesthetic based on stunning draftsmanship and evocative scenography.

Wade Jeffree is a New York-based Designer and Art Director whose practice is based upon creating long-standing collaborative partnerships built on honesty and purpose within the fields of art, culture, and commerce. During UK bank holidays on 25th of August Designcollector Network ran a successful exhibition that explored intersections digital and physical forms - "Phygital" in art, featuring 50 Artists working in the field of near-future terms. This year's theme was "Cyberia - the Unknown Territories shaped by the Digital Ethnos" encourages artists to reflect on the concept of the newborn digital-native that is changing our common value systems.

Digital Decade 5: Cyberia
To deliver the 5th Annual Digital Art Comepetition we teamed up with the leading Creative Platform ELLO and together with Curioos.com invited artists to create an art piece reflecting the Main Theme of Digital Decade 5 Exhibition "Cyberia - The Unknown Territories Shape by the Digital Ethnos"
Nearly 300 Artists have challenged their inner creativity at the Ello x Digital Decade open call last month. We have selected a Shortlist of 60+ artworks and together with 20 members of Jury announcing now the 10 best works that will join our exhibition in London next month

Phygital Exhibition
We are extremely happy to won the Creative Season Summer 17 at London's Ugly Duck residence in August for 3 days. The Digital Decade 5 “Cyberia” is a group show based on artworks and installations selected by a group of partners and curators mainly from Digital and Video Art fields. Phygital Exhibition includes immersive experience in Physical and Digital works to be done in Prints (including Competition Winners), VR Art (check website for VR opportunities), Interactive and Projection Mapping installations
