It's been a while since our friend and partner Alex Frukta (part of Nord Collective) shared new motion works with us. Here is the latest commission he did for Johnson&Johnson. Every year, brand hosts an conference, which brings together employees from all divisions from Russia and CIS countries. It sums up the year and celebrates its end.

“New City (ニューシティー)” is an experiment, conducted by our friends at Nord Collective.Think of it as an identity constructor for modern Utopia city, where each person is treated as centre of his own universe. His interests and needs are forming the zone of perfect comfort around him. “New city” is the place where any personal universe can happily coexist with lots of other personal universes, colliding only in social collaboration for perfect today and even better tomorrow.

As you may know Designcollector is invited to reveal selected Russian artist at the largest South America's media design festival - TRIMARCHI, near Buenos Aires. It was an intensive few months we prepared and exhibited the results of our digital art Battle "His Majesty the Glitch" at OFFF Festival in Barcelona. Many positive things happened as well as our exhibition got a real glitches starting from inverted printing ended with posters falling down from the walls. That was cool to see and meet a lot of like-minded people at OFFF Festival and inviting some of them to vote with a special sticker for the best of the best at The Digital Decade wall. In 2012 Penguin Books published Vahram Muratyan’s book called "Paris versus New York”. Being a huge fans of Vahram’s work, NORD Collective decided to create an animated version of the book. When I first time saw the concept work for Minsk, Belarus capital rebranding, done by Moscow-based designer Maxim Ali, I was confused with that bright stripes and fresh forms. What they all to do with the city like Minsk? But later things grow on me and I spotted a new video for "Think Minsk" project done by another talent Alex Frolov. I won't ever be so sceptical, the things must change, we can't stick to old habits and not revolutionize the whole perception of the object huge as the city. Great job!

Our favourite graphic and motion artist, young Russian blood - Alexey Frolov aka MrFrukta debuts with motion reel summarizing his latest commercial works made for Moscow based agencies. One can say the reel is a bit raw but we prove his level not only by collaborations we did with Alex (OFFF 2011 Russian Panel, DCN Top 2011) but clearly by a deep list of clients like Justice (sic!), Miller, MTV Russia, Yandex etc. Let's watch his showreel.

Young and prosperous Russian designer Alexey Frolov released free new typefaces both featured on Fontfabric typefoundry.
Silverfake is a contemporary slab serif wide free font and Tetra is a decorative sans serif typeface both available for download and appreciations.
